Background: Graves and his fraternal twin brother Grieves were always close growing up and when they were young, many people thought they were identical twins. Despite not actually being identical, they still think of the other as an extension of himself and are able to communicate without talking.

After Grieves died in an accident, stricken with grief, Graves summoned a greater demon and convinced it to bring him back. Shortly afterwards, the greater demon was so impressed with Graves' summoning and bartering skills it decided to bring him back to hell with it. Graves managed to convince it also take back Grieves so they could be together.

In hell, Graves is considered a demon and must carry out the bidding of greater demons. His job is mostly to visit people who summon demons and convince them that it's not worthwhile to make a deal and get them to stop. He also helps out Grieves with his job bringing back dead bodies. The two of them live together.

Graves is the shorter and slightly older twin, and is extremely protective of Grieves.

Personality-wise, Graves is a bit of a thrill seeker. He loves rollercoasters, getting high, and running from the police. Even after becoming a demon, he still likes getting into trouble and barely escaping.
