Background: I first heard the name Damien when I was little and watching my older sister play Creatures on the PC. There was a Norm that was brown and had dark brown curly hair and small horns. She named him Damien and I strongly associated dark hair and horns with the name. A few years later, I got my parents to call Limited Too when they had Halloween Aisha plushies to reserve one for me and one for my younger sister. I named mine Damien. As I grew older, my dream boyfriend was a goth boy named Damien. As a teenager, I had 4 characters with variations of the name. I didn't think about it much until I was 27 or so and decided to make a Neopets fursona. I still loved Halloween Aishas and I thought the name Damien was fitting. Since then, I've been obsessed with him. I mostly draw Damien and I even have a fursuit of him. I love commissioning people to draw him and when I'm testing a new plushie pattern, I make one of him. I love him a lot and will never put him up for sale.
He's everything I wanted to be as a pre-teen but with the confidence I have now to actually do it. It never occurred to me when I was younger that I could become a goth guy named Damien, but here I am now.

As an OC, he used to live at Spade Apartments but has since moved out to live with Rhys.

In terms of personality, he wants to believe he's chaotic evil but really he's neutral good (maybe chaotic good at times). He likes getting into mischief and getting bubble tea with friends. He watches people play games (mostly cheering on Rhys but he also watches some streamers) and longs to play DnD with a solid group. Damien dreams about having a big garden, a few pet cats, and a small house that he can decorate for Halloween and Christmas. Religion-wise he identifies as atheist but likes to adorn crosses (especially inverted ones). He likes to wear pentagrams and say he that he's a Satanist, but he doesn't take it seriously or know much about Satanism.

Yes my fursona has a boyfriend even though I don't. I love Damien so much I want him to be happy and be in love, sue me.

Anyway, it's a bit unclear how they met. Rhys definitely saw Damien and had immediate attraction, so he asked him out. They took things slowly at Damien's insistance, Rhys happily giving time and space. Eventually they moved in together and have plans in the future to get married and buy a house (and maybe adopt a cat). For now, they live in a janky little 1 bedroom apartment and order takeout on weekends. They often watch movies together and discuss them on walks afterwards while eating ice cream.

They have a loving, healthy relationship, that's all.
